Introduction of Arun kolatkar Arun Kolatkar was an Indian poet, He was born in 1st November 1932 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. He grew up in a traditional patriarchal Hindu extended family. He was educated at Rajaram High School in Kolhapur, where lessons were taught in Marathi. In J.J. School of Art in Bombay, also attending art schools in Kolhapur and Pune, graduating in 1957.  Jejuri was his first book of English poetry. Which is a collection of 31 poems. He passed at 25th September 2005 in Pune. About poem Jejuri : Jejuri is a series of poems written by Indian poet Arun Kolatkar.It consist of 31 poem collections. Jejuri poem describes about Kolatkar's visit to Jejuri, a city in Pune, which the poet visited in 1964. It was first published in Opinion Literary Quarterly in 1974, and issued in book-form in 1976. Monk's characteristics :

 Monk was an extremely fine one. He was an out rider (a Monk with business outside the monastery).He loved farming and hunting, Monk is such a virile man.He was qualified to be an abbot. 

Monk's Horse 🐴 :

Monk had very many fine brown horses which very expensive in land. when he rode everyone could hear his bridle,Jingle in a whistling wind as clear and also as loud as  the Chapel bell. 

Morden Monk, hates old rule :

 Monk was Lord, who  prior of the he subordinate monastery. The rule of Saint Maurusor of Saint Benedict,Because it was old and some what strict. This same Monk let old things passaway And followed the broader customs of modern times. He gave not a plucked hen for that text. Religious text says that hunters are not holy men. when he is heedless of rules is like a fish that is out of water. Monk is out of his cloister. He considered that same text not worth an oyster. Even chaucer said his opinion was good. Why should he study and make himself crazy

Monk appearance :

Monk was indeed a vigorous horseman. He had grey hounds as swift as fowl in flight. He likes tracking and hunting. His sleeves lined at the hand with squirrel fur which is very finest in the land. He had a very skill fully made with  pin of gold. There was an elaborate knot in the larger end. His head was bald,which shines like a glass. His face looks like rubbed with oil.He was a very plump Lord and in good condition. His eyes were prominent and rolling in his head. he was a handsome man. He was not pale as diseased man, but he looks pale with good spiritful man.He like to eat roasted Swan. Monk boots looks fine and very expensive, which was made in highly rich leather.
